Summary of incident

On September 13, 2017, police forces from a security post opened fire on a civilian car in the Shabid area of Adraskan district, killing the driver and wounding two other occupants—an elderly man and a woman. Herat police spokesman Abdul Ahad Walizada confirmed the incident and reported that three policemen from the security post were arrested for investigation into this shooting of civilians.
