In the Band-e-Barq area of Aqtash District, the Taliban launched an attack on an outpost manned by pro-government militia members, leading to a protracted nine-hour conflict. Five pro-government militia members lost their lives, while 15 individuals, including five civilians, sustained injuries during the hostilities. Local authorities reported that eight Taliban fighters were also killed, and eventually, the Taliban forces were pushed back.
