Summary
The Taliban attacked an outpost of pro-government militia members in the Band-e-Barq area of Aqtash District, where fighting continued for nine hours. Five pro-government militia members were killed and 15 others, including five civilians, were wounded in the clashes. Local authorities claimed that eight Taliban fighters were also killed and that the Taliban were eventually pushed back.
