Narrative:
On April 10, 2015, Taliban forces carried out summary executions of three men accused of murder in the Juma Bazaar area of Bakwa District, Farah Province. The Taliban gathered a crowd at the execution site and instructed them to shout "Allah Akbar." While the crowd complied with this instruction, the three men were shot. Prior to the executions, local elders had approached the Taliban requesting clemency for the accused men and offered to pay compensation to the families of their alleged victims. The Taliban rejected this proposal.
