On April 18, 2015, ISIL/Daesh operatives detonated an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) inside a local shrine known as Dolakai Baba in Jalalabad City, Nangarhar Province. The explosion injured three civilians, including two boys. A spokesperson for ISIL/Daesh claimed responsibility for the attack through a phone call to local media.
