Four civilians were killed in an airstrike as they left a meeting with Taliban officials in Regi village of Jawand District. The civilians, one of whom was a tribal elder, were attempting to convince insurgents to reopen the route to the district. The aerial bombardment targeted the civilians as they departed from their negotiations with Taliban representatives.
