On 29 October 2015, in Musa Qala District, Helmand Province, a 15-year-old boy was injured by a pressure plate IED when his family visited the home in their village from which they had fled to gather some clothing and food to take to their temporary shelter. While exiting the house pushing a handcart, the IED detonated and injured him.
