- Summary
On September 30, 2021, Khodadad Ahmadi was violently attacked and beaten by armed nomads in the village of Qol-Adam, Malestan district. The confrontation occurred after Ahmadi attempted to prevent the nomads’ herds from grazing on his fields. During the altercation, Ahmadi was shot and injured by one of the assailants. He is currently being transported to Kabul for medical treatment.
