Summary

Unidentified armed men opened fire on Haji Abdul Rahim Sadeqi in Islam Ali village. Sadeqi was an ex-jihadi commander and father of Abdul Aziz Sadeqi, proprietor and managing director of the private local Taban (Brilliant) TV channel. Sadeqi died from his wounds in November. The incident represents a targeted shooting of a former military commander who was also the father of a media executive.
