During a wedding ceremony in Qaymaqchi village in Kunduz City, a group of Taliban fighters were targeted by an airstrike that killed five Taliban fighters. Following the aerial attack, the insurgents began firing at people attending the wedding, killing two civilians and wounding three others. The civilian casualties occurred as Taliban fighters opened fire on wedding guests after being targeted by government forces.
