Narrative:
On January 7, 2015, an armed group attacked workers of a road construction company in Baghlan-e-Jadid (also known as Baghlan Markazi) in Baghlan Province, Afghanistan. The assault resulted in the deaths of six workers, while two others were injured and subsequently taken away by the attackers. No group claimed responsibility for the incident. However, the Taliban and their affiliated armed militia were considered the main suspects due to their active presence in the area at that time. No further information has been reported regarding the fate of the two abducted workers.
