- Summary
On February 6, 2022, Haider Ali, Reza Bakhsh, Abdul Khaliq, and Abdul Aziz, residents of Niqul Ghoghe Hichah village, along with Asami Khaliqdad, Ali Baba, and Abdullah, residents of Pashu Hichah village, were detained, tortured, and harassed by Hassani S/O Golnoor, a resident of Jangali village, Khak Afghan district, Uruzgan province without specific charges. Hassani, who had introduced himself as the deputy Taliban police chief in Jaghouri district, claimed he acted on the orders of Mawlawi Moaz, the security chief of Taliban in Jaghouri district. The detainees were held and tortured by the Taliban for periods ranging from one to three days.
