- Summary
A suicide bomber detonated explosives outside a bakery shop in Yahya Khel district of Paktika province, near the eastern border with Pakistan. The attack killed six civilians and injured nine others. According to a provincial police official, the bomber apparently targeted police and government employees who were buying bread. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
