On 25 June 2020, aircraft belonging to the Afghan Air Force bombed a house in Wazirabad village, Balkh District, Balkh Province, killing a father, a mother and their two children. Five civilians were also wounded in the bombardment. There were no clashes underway between the government and Taliban when the bomb was dropped.
