- Summary
In March 2018, Afghan paramilitary forces conducted a late-night raid on the home of a staff member of an Afghan non-governmental organization. The forces arrived at the family compound, separated the women from the men, and singled out the NGO worker's brother, taking him to another part of the house where they shot and killed him, leaving his body behind. They also took away another male family member, whom the government later denied holding, effectively causing his enforced disappearance.
