- Summary
Afghan strike forces accompanied by US forces conducted a night raid targeting multiple houses in Kulalgo village. According to witnesses, the forces blew open doors and shot four men in front of their family in the first house. In a second house, they fatally shot three shopkeepers and one of their guests, all of whom were home for Eid celebrations. In the third incident, they killed a religious teacher and two construction workers. The strike force asked males to present identification cards. An eyewitness stated that when residents complied without resistance, some were asked to leave their rooms, separated from family members, taken to separate rooms, and later shot dead. Multiple family members reported their relatives were shot in the eyes or mouth. NDS 01 took credit for the raid in a tweet on August 12.
