- Summary
Three women and three children were killed when the house of a Taliban commander was bombed by an airstrike in Maidah Qol village in Ab Kamari District. The commander was also killed along with his four Taliban bodyguards in the airstrike. The commander was responsible for killing a number of Afghan commandos during a military operation in the area a couple of months ago. The aerial bombardment targeted the insurgent leader's residence but resulted in civilian casualties among family members.
