- Summary
Remote-controlled IED detonated inside a doctor's private clinic, killing him and injuring six patients, including a woman. Six months prior, the son of the Taliban's depute shadow governor was arrested by the NDS. The doctor refused to testify on behalf of the son's mental instability despite pressure from the Taliban to do so. This was also discussed in the New York Times, which reported that a doctor was killed and 19 civilians were wounded at a health facility.
