Narrative:
On March 23, 2015, a ground engagement occurred in Murghab District of Badghis Province after the Afghan National Army (ANA) relocated several checkpoints near a village. Anti-Government Elements occupied the former checkpoints and launched an attack against the ANA. During the engagement, ANA forces fired several mortars that resulted in civilian casualties. Three civilians, including one woman, were killed. Six others were injured, including three women and one young boy.
