Afghan forces launched an operation against the Taliban. A rocket fired by the Taliban during clashes hit a house, killing two civilians and wounding two others in the same family. Two soldiers, one police officers, and one pro-government militia member were also killed. Around 3,000 civilians were displaced in three days of fighting.
