On May 13, 2015, Taliban forces attacked "The Park Palace," a mid-range guesthouse in Kululapushta, Police District 4 of Kabul City. The attack occurred during a classical music concert and resulted in the deaths of fifteen people. Among the victims were eight aid workers, five Afghans from other regions, and two nationals from NATO member states. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that it targeted "invaders," specifically an "important meeting" of "important people from many invading countries, especially Americans."
