- Summary
In January 2022, Juma Khan, a resident of Siah Buta village, and Yousefi, a resident of Sarqul village in Jaghouri district, Ghazni province, were arrested by Mullah Pirouz, the former Taliban security chief of Jaghouri district. Their alleged crime was association with Mohammad Isa Peyman, a former officer of the Afghanistan security forces during the Republic. The arrests took place at Sangamashe Bazar and from their shop. Both men were subjected to severe torture for 12 hours before being released.
