On January 23, 2016, a suicide attack targeted a minivan transporting Moby Media Group employees on Darulaman Road in western Kabul. The assailant, using a motorcycle rigged with explosives, collided with the vehicle, causing the deaths of seven employees and injuring 29 others. The Taliban claimed responsibility for this attack, stating it was in retaliation for a report by Tolo News on the conflict in Kunduz Province.
