Summary of incident

On October 12, 2016, a bomb attack targeted a mosque in the Khoja Gholak area during the Shia festival of Ashura. The explosion killed at least 14 people and wounded 30 others. This was the second assault on Shia worshippers within a 24-hour period during the religious observance.
