Summary of incident

On May 31, 2018, a Khost Protection Force search operation in Sabari district resulted in the deaths of at least three civilians, including a boy in ninth grade. According to the boy's father, KPF personnel broke into his house, tied up him and his ten sons, killed one of his sons, and then left. This incident represents extrajudicial killings by a pro-government paramilitary force during a search operation.
