On December 13, 2019, a pressure-plate IED placed in a passenger car by the Taliban detonated in the Qiyagh Valley of Jaghatu district, Ghazni province. The explosion impacted a civilian minibus traveling on the road from Daikundi to Ghazni city. Tragically, ten civilians lost their lives (including five men, three women, one girl, and one boy), and nine others sustained injuries (including six men, two boys, and one girl).
