On October 24, 2021, Taliban forces shot and killed Mustafa, the son of Mohammad Nabi, a former dissolved Afghanistan national army soldier , and Gholam Farooq, the son of Abdul Hadi, a member of the former popular uprisings. This tragic event occurred near Barakhane Square, the center of Ghor province, Afghanistan, as they were returning home from a wedding.
