On June 16, 2017, four civilians were killed when a roadside bomb exploded in the Shakhtari area of Alingar district. The blast targeted a vehicle carrying workers who were transporting rocks for construction work. All four workers were killed and their vehicle was destroyed in the explosion. No group claimed responsibility for planting the explosive device that targeted civilians engaged in construction activities.
