On June 14, 2017, at around 9:00 AM, a bomb attached to a motorcycle exploded in the second police district of Ghazni's provincial capital. The blast killed one civilian and wounded one policeman. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack. This incident was part of broader violence that day which also included Taliban infighting and clashes with security forces in Paktika province that resulted in eight Taliban deaths.
