Summary of incident

On February 8, 2017, Islamic State militants attacked a convoy of International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) workers traveling in three vehicles in Qush Tepa district. The attack killed six ICRC staff members—three drivers and three aid workers—and resulted in the abduction of two others.
