On 20 November 2015, Khost Protection Force fighters killed a recently discharged Afghan army soldier and his wife in a night raid in Zazi Maidan District, Khost Province. KPF provided the couple's relatives roughly $4,500 in compensation at Camp Chapman in front of tribal elders and local officials. At another house in Zazi Maidan, belonging to a man named Mia Gul, the Khost Protection Force seized weapons and detained two men, Mr. Gul and his brother Rahmat Gul, taking them to the nearby Camp Chapman base.
