A police vehicle struck a roadside bomb in the Third Police District of Jalalabad City, killing one police officer and one civilian, and wounding five additional civilians. The explosion destroyed both the police vehicle and a nearby minibus. The improvised explosive device detonated when the police patrol made contact with it, causing casualties among both security personnel and civilians in the vicinity.
