On January 6, 2024, a targeted attack unfolded in the Qalai-e-Nazir area of Dasht-e-Barchi, located in the western suburb of Kabul, Afghanistan. A bomb detonated within a Toyota Coaster minibus full of passengers, leading to the unfortunate loss of 7 civilian lives and causing injuries to an additional 14 individuals. The ISIL-KP has claimed responsibility for this attack, stating that the group's target was the Shia-Hazara community in Dasht-e-Barchi.
