Narrative:
On April 24, 2015, Taliban operatives detonated a magnetic Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attached to the vehicle of the Provincial Director of Borders and Tribal Affairs in Ahmad Aba District, Paktia Province. The attack occurred as the director was returning home from his office. The explosion resulted in the death of one civilian man and caused injuries to the director. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
