On November 30, 2018, foreign soldiers accompanied by the 01 unit of Afghan National Army commandos raided Alizai village and the Nur ul-Madares madrassa in Andar district. During the operation, they killed a 44-year-old villager named Naser. According to relatives, the joint forces took Naser from a room where he was sitting with family members to an empty room, where family members heard gunshots. After the raid ended, they found Naser's body in that room. Four other people were arrested, including a cook, a madrassa guard, and two other villagers. The soldiers also burned three civilian vehicles, including one belonging to a local doctor named Najibullah.
