Allahabad Fedaee, the chief of Maidan Wardak Police, commanded heavily armed security officers to shoot at demonstrators and civilians in the Bihsud district of Maidan-Wardak province on January 30, 2021. The incident resulted in the death of 11 people and injuries to 31 others. The eyewitnesses reported that the Allahabad Fedaee commanded the use of lethal force against demonstrators under the guise of apprehending and quelling Abdul Ghani Alipoor fighters, an anti-Taliban combatant and commander.
