On March 21, 2015, three tribal elders were killed in separate incidents in Zarghun Shahr District of Paktika Province. Tribal elder Matin was killed in a targeted attack by unknown perpetrators. In a separate incident, tribal elders Babu and Sayed Adil were killed in a mine blast in the same district.
