n May 11, 2015, an Afghan National Army (ANA) helicopter opened fire while supporting Afghan national security forces engaged in ground combat with Taliban forces in Baghlani Jadid District, Baghlan Province. The helicopter fire struck civilian homes in the area, killing a three-year-old girl and causing damage to multiple residences. Afghan National Police (ANP) officials reportedly promised local elders they would investigate the incident.
