On April 10, 2015, a pressure plate Improvised Explosive Device (IED) detonated in Khugiani (Wale Mohammad-e-Shahid) District of Ghazni Province. The explosion killed twelve civilians, consisting of eight men and four women, who were traveling to attend a funeral. The perpetrators of the attack remain unknown.
