One civilian was killed and two others were wounded when security guards of the district governor opened fire on a group of people who were protesting the beating of two Madrasa students by the governor's guards in the center of Gulran District. The shooting occurred as civilians demonstrated against the previous mistreatment of religious students by the same security personnel.
