Perpetrators: Unknown Incident Type: Attacks on United Nations road missions Claimed Responsibility: None Narrative: On January 14, 18, and 29, 2015, a series of attacks targeted seven United Nations road missions in Afghanistan. These incidents occurred in Herat Province and Jalalabad City of Nangarhar Province. Despite the multiple attacks, no casualties were reported. No group or individual claimed responsibility for these attacks. At the time, various anti-government groups, including the Taliban, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant - Khorasan Province (ISIL-KP), and some local armed militias, were active in both Nangarhar and Herat provinces.
