Summary of incident

On March 25, 2016, Taliban militants assassinated Khan Agha, an Afghan army general, in southern Afghanistan. During the attack, the general's 17-year-old son was also injured. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the targeted killing of a high-ranking military official.
