Narrative:
On August 7, 2015, a suicide bomber dressed in police uniform infiltrated a group of police cadets in the Kartah-e-Mamurin area of Police District 5 in Kabul City. The cadets were queuing to re-enter the police academy after a weekend break when the attacker detonated his explosives. The explosion killed at least thirty-five civilians and injured twenty-nine others, all of whom were adult males. No non-civilian casualties were reported. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
