Summary of incident

On April 6, 2022, militants affiliated with the Taliban General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI) arrested three individuals named: Gholam Rabbani, the head of the Journalists’ Immunity Committee in Ghor; Gul Ahmad Khosro, a reporter for Firoz Koh Radio; and an employee of the Literacy Directorate in Firoz Koh, the capital of Ghor province. They were arrested by the Taliban during a meeting and were reportedly tortured during their detention.
