On 4 December 2015, in Otari Village, Saydabad District, Maidan Wardak Province, the Afghan National Army fired two explosive recoilless rifle rounds that struck a mosque, killing nine civilians including four boys, and injuring three others. The Afghan National Army reportedly arrested three ANA soldiers in relation to this incident.
