On August 11, 2015, anti-government armed elements intercepted and stopped two vehicles traveling from Jaghori District toward the center of Ghazni Province. The incident occurred near Qarabagh District, where the armed individuals abducted twelve civilian passengers from the vehicles. The whereabouts and status of the kidnapped civilians remained unknown.
