Taliban forces attacked a government outpost in Saray Andkhoy, killing three pro-government militia members and wounding two others. During the assault, insurgents also killed four civilians who were farming near the outpost according to local officials. Government reinforcements eventually arrived and pushed back the Taliban attackers. The civilian casualties occurred as farmers were working in agricultural areas adjacent to the military position.
