- Summary of incident
On March 4, 2018, approximately 20 Khost Protection Force (KPF) personnel conducted a search operation at a family house in Nadir Shah Kot district. During the operation, they shot and killed two civilian brothers and one of their wives. The KPF personnel then set fire to a vehicle in front of the house and to the family home itself, burning alive a three-year-old girl inside. They also took three male relatives to their base but released them later that day after hundreds of local residents protested the incident.
