Summary of incident

In Qaws 1400 (November-December 2021), Haji Zahir, a resident of Seyyed Ahmad, was arbitrarily arrested by Mullah Pirouz, the former security chief of Taliban in Jaghori district, Ghazni Province. Despite having no military background, Haji Zahir was detained and subsequently released only after a ransom of 130,000 Afghanis was paid to the Taliban.
