Summary of incident

On July 28, 2018, Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISIS-KP) executed four men in Dara-i-Pech district whom they accused of spying for pro-government forces. The victims had been abducted and held in captivity for two months before their execution. ISIS-KP claimed responsibility for the killings and published photographs of the executions on the Amaq news website, demonstrating their use of propaganda to publicize their violence.
